Like many motorists I have watched in despair recently as petrol prices have steadily rose once more. Before I could manage to run my car on about 20 pounds worth of petrol per week but now it`s more like 25 ? 30 quid that I`ve got to put in the tank. Nobody knows what the price of petrol will be from week to the next but the indications show that it will only go up again in the near future. I`m disheartened and I`m thinking of having an LPG Conversion carried out on my car. It`ll cost about £1500 to carry out the work but I`ll save tons of money once the LPG Conversion has taken place. You tend to get slightly fewer miles to the gallon when you power you car with gas but it only costs about 50 pence per litre compared to an average of £1.09 for unleaded petrol at the moment. Now I`m no genius at maths, never have been never will be, but even I can work out where the saving s are coming from. The mileage on my motor is low so once the LPG Conversion has been completed I can keep the car for a good few years and it`ll be cheap to run.
